The meeting for the partnership between Madras Christian College and Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, was held on 7th July 2023 at 2 pm via Zoom Meet.

Dr. Pauline A Gordon - (SFHEA) & Lecturer, Deputy Head of International

university.
Dr. Lynn Minnaert- Head of Subject Professor, Edinburgh Napier university.
Dr.S.Eswari- Head of the Department, Department of Geography, Tourism and Travel M anagement, Madras Christian College, Chennai.
Dr.R.Obed Jackson- Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Tourism and
Travel Management, Madras Christian College, Chennai,
Dr. Prince Solomon welcomed the entire members present for the meeting. He introduced himself and the team members from Madras Christian College.
Dr. Pauline A Gordon introduced herself and their team member Dr. Lynn Minnaert and explained about the modules of the programmes offered by Edinburgh Napier University and accreditation system (ASSP) of the Edinburgh Napier University.
Dr. Pauline elaborated on Trimester, the semester beginning month and end of the Trimester. 2+2 years exchange program.
Dr. Prince Solomon asked varies questions on who batches the degree, whether its 2 year or 3 year exchange program, After completing the course if Visa is rejected what will be the status of the student.
Dr. Pauline asked the details of the modules offered by the department. Dr. Eswari briefed about the programmes offered by the department. Dr. Pauline asked whether there is a course on Airlines. Dr. Eswari and Dr. Obed answered yes, its offered in the final year on fifth semester.
Dr. Pauline asked for the detailed modules of the programme offered by the department of Geography, Tourism and Travel Management. Edinburgh Napier team will be visiting India (Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai) in the month of August 2023. So their visit to Chennai tentatively on 1st or 2nd week of August 2023.
