Inter-institutional Collaboration Discussion between MCC & SUSS
The Inter-institutional
Collaboration Discussion meeting on Microsoft Teams, from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm today, between Madras Christian
College (MCC) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) focused on
exploring potential collaboration models in logistics and supply chain
management education.
Participants introduced their respective institutions and clarified the differences in educational systems, highlighting MCC's autonomy and its proposal for a 1-year program that combines theoretical learning in India with an internship in Singapore.
The discussion addressed collaboration challenges, particularly regarding credit-bearing courses and the involvement of other SUSS departments, while also considering joint certifications and pathway programs. Key actions determined included drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration, scheduling a follow-up meeting, and sharing existing collaboration models to enhance experiential learning.
