Visit of Prof. Zizzo, Dean of Economics, University of Queensland to MCC

Prof. Zizzo, Academic Dean and Head of School of Economics, The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, visited MCC on Thursday, 29th August 2024 to discuss areas for possible collaborations between the two Institutions.

[The University of Queensland is a public university founded in 1909, and it is considered one of Australia’s top research and teaching institutions. It is ranked 40th in the QS World University Rankings]

Prof. Zizzo addressed the students of the Department of Economics, in the Anderson Hall from 8.30 am to 9.15 am, on the topic, ‘Is it good or bad to be competitive? Lessons for leaders, managers and everyone else’.

This was followed by a brief time of interaction with Prof. Zizzo, at 9.30 am in the Council Room where he interacted with our Principal, Deans, HoDs & Faculty.

Prof. Zizzo expressed his interest in signing articulation agreements (MoUs) and discuss areas for future collaborations between Madras Christian College and the University of Queensland.
