Sub: Fully-Funded Workshop from Modern South Asia Workshop at Yale (MSAW)

[Organized by MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale’s South Asian Studies Council]

If you are an advanced PhD student from the Departments of Political science, Architecture, Anthropology, or History, and if you have completed all coursework and fieldwork, and are in the process of writing and submitting your PhD dissertation, MSAW encourages you to present papers that promote interdisciplinary exchange across these fields.

The 2025 MSAW will be held at a location in South Asia from June 7-8, 2025.

Travel, accommodation, and meals will be provided to all selected candidates for the duration of the Workshop in South Asia.

Application Deadline: December 2, 2024 (4 pm ET)

Selected Candidates Informed: by February 15, 2025

Completed Papers Deadline: March 30, 2025 (4 pm ET)

Workshop Dates: June 7-8, 2025
