21st January 2024
Dr. Troy D. VanAken, the 14th President of Elmhurst University, Illinois, US, arrived in Campus on Sunday, 21st January 2024.
At 5 pm, He participated in the evening service at Bishop Heber Chapel in Campus.
At 7.30 pm, Dr. Troy was hosted by our Principal Dr. Paul Wilson for a Welcome Dinner at Principal’s Residence.
22nd January 2024
At 10 am, Dr. Troy was hosted for a meeting in the Council Room, where he met with College Officials, including the Vice Principals and Deans. During the Meeting, the Departments of BBA, Zoology, Physics (SFS), Social Work (Aided & SFS), and Philosophy, gave presentations on the best practices in their respective Departments.
At 11.30 am, Dr. Troy met with two professors who had visited Elmhurst University.
At 12 noon, he visited the Boyd-Tandon School of
Business, followed by Lunch with officials of the College.
At 4.30 pm, Dr. Troy witnessed a Theatre Performance by the students.
He then visited the Innovation Park and MCTL.
At 7.30 pm, Dr. Troy had dinner with the Cabinet members of the six halls of residence hosted by CMC at Martin Hall.
23rd January 2024
Dr. Troy visited Campus School, followed by a visit to the College Farm and to the Sports Pavilion.
24th January 2024 – Dr. Troy departs from IGH
