Visit of Tibetan School Students to MCC | A Report

A group of 16 Tibetan students visited MCC today, Monday, 11th November 2024 in the Staff Tiffin Room Meeting Hall.

The visit was coordinated by Ms. Asha Reddy.

As we are aware, the number of Tibetan students studying in MCC has drastically come down in recent years. This visit by Tibetan school students who are in their higher secondary class is to encourage them to pursue their higher studies in MCC.

Prof. R. Sridhar, Vice-Principal, introduced the objectives of the programme.

This was followed by a Video Documentary on MCC, and a presentation by Admissions Office and the various departments.

Dr. Ashik J Bonofer, Dept of Political Science, MCC, coordinated a discussion on Indo-Tibetan Relations.  

The students later paid a visit to MCC-MRF Innovation Park, which was followed by Lunch & Departure
